Relaxation
At Hillcrest you can choose to be as energetic or as relaxed as you wish. Enjoy a luxurious massage by appointment, either in our dedicated massage & meditation room or if weather permits in the gazebo by the pool. Afterward you can relax in one of the comfortable sun lounges by the solar-heated salt-water pool or snooze in the hammock outside your room.

Murwillumbah has a range of alternative health practitioners, from Reiki to Chinese herbs, and a beautifully relaxing day spa for that extra pampering during your stay.

Activities
From horse-riding to a miniature horse and donkey farm, golf at one of Australia's most beautiful Championship Golf courses, scenic joy-flights in either a replica Super Waco bi-plane or a gyro plane, full day rainforest safaris, river cruises, either with an on-board crab lunch

or visit to a local pearl farm, river or deep sea fishing, scuba diving, whale watching ~ the list is endless. So don't worry, if lazing by the pool or swinging in a hammock is not your idea of a fun holiday, there's plenty to see and do in the beautiful Tweed hinterland and along the Tweed coast.

Galleries
The new, multi million dollar Tweed Regional Art Gallery is located a few minutes from the centre of Murwillumbah and is a "must see" for art lovers. Home to the world's richest portrait prize, the Doug Moran Prize, the gallery has past winners on permanent display.

In addition to the Tweed Regional Gallery, the whole tweed hinterland is dotted with small galleries displaying a range of local handicrafts as well as work by world-class artisans in a range of fields from woodwork to silver-smithing. We will advise you on the ones not to miss during your stay at Hillcrest.
