Specialising in peaceful and romantic getaways for couples of all ages, Hillcrest offers a choice of 2 air-conditioned B&B suites, one with luxury double spa bath, in a private guest wing of the main house, or complete privacy for one couple in our fully self contained cottage set away from the main house in its own secluded garden.
Main House Bed & Breakfast guests enjoy private entry, massage room and
guest lounge with comfortable recliner chairs, stocked fridge and two
double glass sliding doors opening to a charming central atrium with tropical plants, fishpond and resident Green Tree Frogs during the warmer months.
The two Guest bedrooms offer queen size beds, tv/dvd and ensuite bathrooms ~ one with luxury double spa and one with full size ordinary bath, both with separate showers. Each bedroom opens to a large verandah with tables, chairs, hammocks for those more relaxing moments and beautiful views over rolling pastures to Mt Warning in the distance.

The Blue Room
Décor is elegant and simple, with original etchings and limited edition prints rather than lace and frills. The ensuite has a full size bath and separate oversize shower. Bath towels, robes, pool towels, a selection of toiletries and a hair-dryer are provided for your convenience.
Double glass sliding doors open to your verandah where you can relax in your hammock and enjoy the views over rolling green hills to Mt Warning in the distance, read a book or enjoy a coffee at your private table. $165-$185 per Couple per Night For complete privacy, colour tv and dvd players are provided to both guest bedrooms, with the air-conditioned guest lounge reserved as a quiet reading/music area.

The Spa Suite 
Have you every stayed somewhere with a spa and run out of hot water before the bath is full? Well this can't happen at Hillcrest as our Spa Suite has it's own instant gas hot water system for unlimited hot water whenever you need it.  Robes, bath towels, pool towels, candles, toiletries, hairdryer and split system reverse cycle air-conditioning are provided for your comfort. High raked ceilings and plenty of wardrobe space complete the picture. Double glass sliding doors open to your verandah where you can relax in your hammock or enjoy a coffee at your private table. $195-$225 per Couple per Night rates vary with time of year and length of stay. Some discounts are for direct bookings only and are not available high season, special events or public holidays, surcharge may apply for xmas, new year and easter. Murwillumbah has two video libraries, both of which are happy to give temporary membership to our guests if you can't find a movie to suit you in our own library ~ which includes a selection of classic Black and White movies.

At night we light up the gazebo, pool and gardens, making this a perfect spot to enjoy one of Clive's special summer barbecues. Self-catering enthusiasts will prefer the Hillcrest Cottage with it's fully equipped kitchen and gas bbq on the private verandah. Main house guests may order a DIY BBQ pack to enjoy in the fairy-lit gazebo by our solar-heated pool ~ perhaps enjoy a warm dip before your meal. What better way to spend a glorious summer's evening?
